Where do I fly when coming to Javea?
Fly to Alicante
Alicante-Elche airport, known as El Altet airport, is a Spanish Aena company. Found 8 km southwest of Alicante.
El Altet, Alicante airport is ideally located just over an hour’s drive by car from Javea.
On leaving Alicante airport you immediately pick up the auto via fast road, taking direction to Valencia and heading for the AP7 motorway connection.
Come off the motorway at Ondara, then follow signs to Jávea.
When exiting the motorway you’re not expected to pay anything since January 1st 2020 – it’s free.

Trains to Javea
There are no direct trains to Javea as we don’t have a railway line. The closest train stations to Javea would be either Gata de Gorgos or Teulada (which I believe are currently closed and having works done).
International trains
Can be taken from Barcelona and the connecting station to Barcelona would be Valencia train station, called Estacion Joaquin Sorolla.
From Valencia you can catch a EuroMed train up to Barcelona Estacion Sants and from there are high speed AVE trains to Madrid and other parts of Spain and Europe. Spanish train company’s RENFE and Adif are well organised, well timed and offer a comfortable solution for travelling by train around Spain and offer good connections to other lines in France and further afield.
Buses to Javea
Beni-Connect is a bus shuttle service running between Alicante and Denia. For 25 euros you can reserve a seat and go from various points in Javea to departures at Alicante airport.
Depending on how many people and which towns they are being picked up from, will depend on travel time but they will organise it to get you there in time for your flight. Coming from the airport can take longer, depending on how many drop offs they have along the way.
National and international buses
If you fly into either Alicante or Valencia, you can take a bus connection into both cities and from there jump on an Alsa bus that will bring you to Javea. The bus ride from Valencia or Alicante to Jávea is about 12 euros.
The Alsa bus company website is informative and offers special rates for youths and pensioners. Their buses are well maintained and most offer wifi connections.
